Vans Spices Up the Classics

Think Vans and the silhouette that first comes to mind is the vulcanized slip-on. Think style and the first that comes to mind by Vans is the legendary "Checkerboard," made famous by Sean Penn's Jeff Spicoli character in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High." For this fall, the brand steeped in So-Cal heritage is juicing up its Classic line for kids.

New additions in Classics for Fall '11 include more kids'-specific designs than ever before, such as food-themed designs, like banana split and cheeseburger, and Hello Kitty for girls in sporty hi-tops and low-rise slip-ons.
